Main Lobby
Main Lobby
The long-loved HAPPO-EN Main Building will be reborn as a building that gently connects with the garden. Starting with the main lobby, which is connected to the garden, the space will allow you to feel the Japanese garden, which has a history of over 400 years, everywhere. The main lobby space, which blends Japanese culture and craftsmanship, is befitting the concept of "condensing the Japanese aesthetic sense," and is imbued with the passion of three of Japan's leading craftsmen, experts in ink painting, kumiko, and woodworking.

"STUDIO KOKU" features a spectacular 20-meter and 7-meter LED wall that creates a dynamic visual effect, supporting impressive presentations and events. HAPPO-EN 's expert staff will be on hand to assist with LED wall operation and document creation, so you can use the space with peace of mind. Additionally, the adjacent "LOUNGE KOKU" offers complimentary drinks and refreshments, making your time even more comfortable.

With its simple yet sophisticated atmosphere, "HALL HAKU" offers flexible space suitable for a variety of business events. The optimal layout can be tailored to suit the scale and format of your event. At the adjacent "BAR HAKU," you can enjoy a welcome cocktail in a special space overlooking the garden. The elegant atmosphere will provide a comfortable and relaxing time for all attendees.

Located in Shirokanedai, Tokyo, HAPPO-EN boasts a vast garden and historic architecture spread across approximately 33,000 square meters, as well as a variety of banquet halls, both large and small. Each venue has a different concept and style, from a traditional atmosphere to a modern and sophisticated one, and we have a wide range of spaces to meet all your requests. The banquets and events we have produced to date have been diverse, ranging from under 10 people to over 1,000 people. We will propose the optimal venue and location based on the number of people, purpose, and requests.

HAPPO-EN has planned and produced many events to date. The production skills and service skills of the OMOTENASHI spirit cultivated through events held within HAPPO-EN can be reproduced in facilities and venues outside HAPPO-EN. We provide one-stop production of everything needed to hold an event, from planning proposals to spatial design, table coordination, sound and lighting, operations on the day, service, and food.

At HAPPO-EN, we take into consideration the diverse dietary needs of each and every customer and offer dishes that can meet a variety of requests. We are also flexible in accommodating allergies and dietary restrictions, striving to ensure that everyone can enjoy their meal with peace of mind. We also value our collaboration with local farmers and are committed to actively incorporating sustainable ingredients. Furthermore, we are happy to develop original menus tailored to the theme of banquets and events, so please feel free to consult us about any requests you may have.

It is a one-minute walk from the nearest station, Shirokanedai Station (Tokyo Metro Namboku Line, Toei Mita Line). Please see below for an estimate of the travel time required if you take a taxi from major stations in Tokyo. We can also arrange buses, so please feel free to contact us.
We can propose a food style that matches the overall purpose and needs of your banquet or event, and also provide individual allergen-free menus, menus that are considerate of religious reasons, and vegans and vegetarians. We also offer a performance cooking option where the chef prepares the food right in front of your guests. First, let us know your preferences.
