HAPPO-EN was founded as a restaurant built in this garden, which changes its appearance beautifully with the seasons. With the garden as its central feature, HAPPO-EN remains a symbol of the garden to this day, we offer all our guests special moments that encapsulate the Japanese aesthetic sense, whether they are dining, having a wedding, or celebrating a banquet.

A vast garden spread across a site of 33,000 square meters that will make you forget the hustle and bustle of the city. The history of this garden, which shows beautiful expressions in every season, dates back to the Edo period about 400 years ago. Anyone is welcome to stroll through the garden, and you can also enjoy a cup of tea in the teahouse "Mu-an."
