The place to experience the beautiful heart and culture of Japan.
Located in Shirokanedai, Tokyo, is a vast Japanese garden that has existed for over 400 years. HAPPO-EN was founded as a restaurant built in this garden, which changes its appearance beautifully with the seasons. With the garden as its central feature, HAPPO-EN remains a symbol of the garden to this day, we offer all our guests special moments that encapsulate the Japanese aesthetic sense, whether they are dining, having a wedding, or celebrating a banquet.

TOKYO RED GARDEN 2026
Weaving Autumn.A garden passed down for 400 years. HAPPO-EN, ever evolving with the times. A place where scenery preserved unchanged through the ages meets the sensibilities unique to each era. Layer upon layer, the flow of time has enriched autumn in this garden. The trees turn color, and autumn is mirrored on the water. Upon this inherited scenery, we layer an autumn that belongs to this year alone.
