A beautiful Japanese garden that has been passed down for 400 years. A restaurant was built on this site, aiming to become a spiritual home for Japanese guests and a place to convey Japanese culture to overseas guests. Now, 80 years after our founding, we have set a new purpose: "Making Japan Beautiful." By inheriting Japanese culture, history, and traditions and updating their values to suit the times, we hope to provide all our guests with a special experience that is condensed with the Japanese aesthetic sense.

[August 8th & 9th] Festivals from all over Japan come together! Experience a "journey through Japanese festivals with all five senses"—seeing, hearing, tasting, touching, and feeling—through dances, HAPPO-EN stalls, and new regional dishes themed around "festivals" created by Happoen chefs.
