About 80 years ago, we at Happo-en started our business as a traditional Japanese restaurant. With the skills, experience, and spirit of hospitality that we have honed over our long history, we deliver the same "Happo-en taste" as you would find in any of the restaurants and traditional Japanese restaurants within the garden.

One-stop production
We provide one-stop production of everything needed for hosting a event, including planning proposals, coordination with all relevant parties, spatial design, table coordination, audio, lighting, on-site operations and services.

Hospitality
We can cater for a variety of occasions, including weddings and business events, making use of the "uniquely Japanese hospitality" we have cultivated over our many years of history, and providing the same attentive service as you would find at Happo-en.

Carefully Selected Ingredients
Just like the restaurants and traditional Japanese restaurants within the park, all of the ingredients used in the dishes are carefully selected by the chefs themselves, who visit the producing areas and farmers themselves.

Sustainability
In order to reduce the amount of waste we throw out, we are actively working to reduce food waste and use environmentally friendly ingredients, as well as using tableware made in Kaga City, Ishikawa Prefecture, that won't break if dropped and can be repaired if chipped.

The second company in Japan to obtain FSSC22000 certification
"FSSC 22000" is a food safety certification scheme approved by the International Food Safety Initiative. At Happo-en, we have obtained certification in Category E, which covers not only serving food in banquet halls and guest rooms, but also catering.

Plan Introduction
Enjoy the taste of Happo-en even outside the facility. We will propose the best plan for the occasion, number of people, and budget, including course meals, original arrangements, and performance dishes such as roast beef and sushi. We can customize the menu, accommodate allergies, and take into consideration various dietary requests, so please feel free to contact us. We also have plans that actively incorporate "sustainable ingredients" that aim for long-term sustainable food production and consumption, taking into consideration the global environment and social issues.

What's Included
Buffet dishes
Please apply according to the number of participants.
Free drinks (2 hours)
This includes beer, red and white wine, whiskey, apple juice, oolong tea, and cola. If you have a preference for a specific brand or Japanese sake, we can accommodate your request.
Equipment and basic fixtures
We will provide all the necessary party equipment, including dishes, glasses, cutlery, etc. for the number of guests.
Service staff
Happoen staff will support you with everything from setting up the venue, supporting the proceedings, serving food, serving drinks, and clearing up the venue.
Transportation costs
There will be no separate charge for transportation costs to your desired venue.

Hearing
A member of staff from Happo-en will interview you to find out what kind of party or event you are planning to hold, as well as the details and requests you would like to make.

Preview of the venue
We will actually visit the venue to check the cooking environment, layout, and operational design.

Present a quote
Based on the information we receive, we will propose a plan and provide you with a quote.

Meeting
Based on the details of the interview, we will develop the food menu and produce the entire party. At the same time, we will visit the venue to check the flow of the day and the setting.

Party
On the day, Happo-en staff will provide comprehensive support, from running the party to cleaning up after it is over.
