About HAPPO-EN
A vast Japanese garden extends across HAPPO-EN’s approximately 33,000-square-meter grounds. Its history dates back approximately 400 years to the Edo period. The presence of this Japanese garden, with its beautiful seasonal expressions throughout the year, marked the beginning of HAPPO-EN’s history.

Attire Rental and Hair & Makeup Services
We offer kimono dressing and hair and makeup services for wedding guests by advance reservation.
Even if you bring your own costume, you can reserve kimono dressing or hair and makeup services only.

Japanese Restaurant KOCHUAN
KOCHUAN is a traditional Japanese restaurant nestled in HAPPO-EN's Japanese garden. This luxurious space features all private rooms overlooking the beautiful garden that changes with the seasons. Changing rooms and cloakroom
The Annex offers changing rooms equipped with separate lockers for men and women, providing added convenience for guests arriving from outside the area.
In addition, luggage other than valuables can be stored at the cloakroom in the lobby of the Main Building.
Nursing space
A nursing and diaper-changing area is available on the 4th floor of the Main Building. Complimentary stroller rentals are available at the lobby, so please do not hesitate to ask our staff for assistance.
Accessibility
The entire Main Building is wheelchair accessible. Dedicated staff are available to assist guests using wheelchairs when traveling through the garden or to other facilities, including KOCHUAN and Hakuho-kan. Wheelchairs are also available upon request. Please have the bride and groom inform their assigned representative in advance.
Family waiting room
A family waiting room is available exclusively for relatives on the 4th floor of the Main Building. Relatives may relax and spend time in the waiting room until the wedding ceremony begins. Before the ceremony, the bride and groom will meet with their relatives, followed by an introduction of the families. For guests other than relatives, waiting rooms are available at each ceremony venue. Please refer to the invitation you received for details.

HAPPO-EN does not offer on-site accommodations. For guests who would like to stay nearby, we can introduce partner hotels at special rates. Please feel free to contact us when making your reservation. Guests who would like to arrange shuttle bus services are also welcome to contact their assigned representative.
