Opened on the 29th floor of NEWoMan Takanawa, BUTAI is a kappo restaurant conceived around the idea of "a place where Japanese food culture converges." Changing rooms are available for all guests, so please feel free to use them for family members who need to change.

Frequently Asked Questions
We recommend applying at least two weeks in advance. However, we also welcome last-minute inquiries, so please don't hesitate to contact us.
Yes, we have changing rooms available for all guests. Lockers with keys are also provided inside, so you can use them with peace of mind.
We regret that outside photographers are not permitted. However, you are welcome to take photos with your own smartphone, so please capture plenty of wonderful memories.
Yes, dining-only reservations are available. Please book directly through each restaurant's website.
Starting June 1, 2026, a free shuttle bus service to JR Takanawa Gateway Station will operate on weekends and public holidays. NEWoMan Takanawa, where Kappou BUTAI is located, is just a 1-minute walk from Takanawa Gateway Station, so please make use of the shuttle. Taxi arrangements are also available—feel free to ask our staff.
Yes, furisode and hakama rentals are available through our partner costume shop. Please feel free to consult with us.
