Liberal arts

Make Japan beautiful.

The modern world is one of rapid change and uncertainty. In the business world, not only logical thinking but also right-brain thinking is emphasized, and attention is being paid to well-being and other aspects of the mind. In this modern society, Happo-en offers programs to learn about Japanese culture and spirit that are useful in both daily life and the business world, and to hone your own aesthetic sense and aesthetic eye. Enjoy a stroll through the vast Japanese garden, which boasts 400 years of history, and experience programs that will awaken sensibilities that cannot be acquired through classroom learning alone.

OCHANOBA

"Chanoyu" is said to be the culmination of Japanese culture. In this program, you can learn the manners, knowledge and culture of a business person through a casual experience of Sencha tea ceremony that allows you to practice the spirit of "Wa Kei Sei Jaku" (harmony, respect, purity and tranquility) that is the basis of Okakura Tenshin's "The Book of Tea" and the concept of tea ceremony, and support the realization of a richer business style.

Single Plan

This plan can be used as a one-off general education for new recruits or as a one-off training for middle managers to broaden their perspective (multiple sessions are also possible). In the course, participants will learn about Japanese aesthetics using Okakura Tenshin's "The Book of Tea" as a subject, and acquire the mindset to think from the other person's perspective. The program content is designed to improve organizational capabilities by honing one's own aesthetic sense and revitalizing internal communication through tea.
